At least 18 people were reported killed and several others injured in an attack on Dowayan village in Demsa local government area of Adamawa state, Channels TV reports.
The report quoted local residents as saying on Saturday, June 23 that the attack occurred on Friday, June 22 night.
The residents claimed the herdsmen who carried out the attack, struck at the communities around 8:00 pm.
They burned down several houses and destroyed other properties.
The Police has yet to confirm the attack. Adamawa Command spokesperson Othman Abubakar said he has yet to be informed about the incident.
