Check out what violent fans did to Germany star Ozil following World Cup exit at group stage (photos)

- Mesut Ozil was attacked by violent supporters’ moments, after the defending World Cup champions crashed out

- The Arsenal playmaker was credited with creating seven chances, from open play, the most by any player in a single game so far in Russia.

- But some fans took to the social media to blast the Premier League star after Germany's exit

Germany’s Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil was attacked by violent Die Mannscaft supporters’ moments, after the defending World Cup champions crashed out of the group stage for the first time in 80 years, at the ongoing Fifa World Cup in Russia.

Asian representatives’’ South Korea's Taegeuk Warriors smashed Die Mannscaft 2-0 while Sweden's Blue-Yellow battered Mexico 3-0 as both grabbed the two top spot in Group F.

After the referee’s final whistle at the Karzan Arena, a German supporter was checked by the security details as he poured out his anger at the Gunners’ playmaker.

The £350,000-a-week Premier League star as well as other Die Mannscaft squad members from images, were almost in tears as they shouted back at the fan, with another teammate, holding the Arsenal playmaker as they were heading to the exit doors.

In all honestly, Ozil was on top of his game judging from statistics during the Group E showdown in Moscow.

The Germany International was credited with creating seven chances, from open play, the most by any player in a single game so far at ongoing football fiesta in Russia.

Sadly, Die Mannscaft supporters’ think otherwise after the Europeans emerged the fourth defending champions from the last five World Cups to quit the tournament without progressing beyond the group stage.

Some other fans took to the social media to blast the Arsenal playmaker.

"Is Mesut Ozil the laziest footballer of all time?," one questioned, as another stressed: "As usual Mesut Ozil finishes fourth."

Another fellow user replied: "The inclusion of Mesut Ozil in the front four did little to inspire a turgid Germany team."

While another wrote: "I just want to take this tweet to say Mesut Ozil is an absolute fraud."

A fellow user posted: "Mesut Ozil is such a frustrating player. Based on talent, he's one of the best. The thing is, I've always questioned his consistency and application."

Another said: "Mesut Ozil is a great player but he has the mental strength of a biscuit that has fallen in a hot cup of tea."

But one user showing a lack of respect posted: "Mesut Ozil wears Jesse Lingard pyjamas."

However, a fan tried to defend Ozil, through his post: "If you just watched that atrocious performance from Germany but are only blaming Ozil then football honestly isn't for you."

While another also tried to defend the Arsenal man. "Germany fans blaming Ozil for their early exit. Surely one man can't be responsible for a team of Germany's so-called quality being knocked out."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Germany bowed out of the ongoing 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia after suffering a shocking 2-0 defeat by Korea Republic’s Taeguk Warriors at the Kazan Arena.

Young-Gwon Kim and Heung-Min Son scored on the 90 minute and added time as the Taeguk Warriors claimed a famous win over Die Mannschaft in a tantalizing duel.
