Lionel Messi can now sleep easy without his arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo's mural looming over him.
An artwork of Messi's face was painted on the hotel Argentina moved into as they prepare for World Cup last-16, where Ronaldo also adorns the walls.
Argentine officials were left red-faced when they moved into their new digs in Kazan, with Ronaldo's face taking pride of place on the outside.

The Ramada Hotel was Argentina's only choice in the city, with their opponents France having taken the other World Cup-ready venue in Kazan, the Hotel Mirage.
Authorities quickly solved the issue with Messi's face being painted onto the same hotel.
Argentina made it through to the last-16 following a slim victory over Nigeria to second place in Group D.

Messi had come under under heavy criticisms after a draw against Iceland and being beaten by Croatia leaving Argentina's chances hanging by a thread.
But Messi opened the scoring against the Super Eagles, producing two stunning touches to before lashing the ball into the Nigerian net.
Meanwhile Ronaldo has been one of the stars of the tournament, scoring four times as Portugal have also reached the second round.

Both players have penalties in the group stage against Iceland and Iran in the group phase respectively.
The duo could go head to head in the quarter-finals if Argentina scale France hurdle and Portugal defeat Uruguay, with both games slated for Saturday.
