Personal Assistant to the president on new media, Bashir Ahmad, via his twitter handle shared a picture of Super Eagles jersey with President Buhari's name written on it.
The fancy green and white jersey has number 19 on it which suggests the president has been handed a squad number in support of the national team.
The president on Wednesday, May, 30 hosted the players and the officials at the Presidential Villa where he gave them a farewell message.

The team departed Abuja to London on a chattered flight where they will be training at the Barnet Stadium in preparation for the England friendly on Saturday, June, 2.
After the match on Saturday, the delegation will fly into Bad Tatzmannsdorf, a city in Austria, then play another pre-World Cup match against the Czech Republic at the Rudolf Tonn Stadium on June, 6.

The team will begin their campaign in Group D with matches against Croatia, Iceland and Argentina.
