Sports minister Solomon Dalung spotted wearing N41,000 Super Eagles jersey at FEC meeting

- Solomon Dalung dresses like a sportsman to FEC meeting held in Abuja

- Gernot Rohr's side lost their last friendly match to the Czech Republic

Youth and sport minister Solomon Dalung was at the Federal Executive Council (FEC) held on Wednesday, June, 6, at the Aso Rock in Abuja.

The sport minister was spotted dressed in sport-fitting outfit to the meeting of the ministers with President Buhari.

The minister put on the fancy Super Eagles jersey said to worth N41,000 with a national team branded fez cap along with a Nike track trousers.

Meanwhile, Gernot Rohr's side lost their second straight game in four days as they lost 1-0 to the Czech Republic in their final pre-World Cup friendly.

The defeat to the Eastern Europeans have generated reactions about the teams' preparedness for the World Cup.

Out of the five warm up matches the Green and White men have played they have only managed to win one, which was the 1-0 win against Poland in April.

The three-time African champions lost 2-0 to Serbia in London, then played a 1-1 draw against the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The famous Wembley showdown against the Three Lions ended in a narrow 2-1 win where the team had a poor first half.

The Mikel Obi-captained side will kick start their campaign in Russia in a match against Croatia on June, 16, then take on Iceland and Argentina in the coming days.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Mikel made a big statement after President Buhari hosted the team in a farewell ceremony.

The former Chelsea midfielder said the team have no reason not to do well at the World Cup because their bonuses and allowances have been paid.
