Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo has declared that he will be contesting for a post in the House of Representative in the upcoming election in Imo state.

The actor took to his Instagram page to inform his fans and the public about his interest, as he asked them for their love and support.

He wrote on his page: "Hello Friends, good evening. History has been made today as I declared my intention to run for the House of Representatives, Ahiazu/ Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency, Imo State under the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA. I owe you this information as I enlist your prayers and support. #OverAndOut"
