I have evidence that politicians were behind Jos killings - Plateau lawmaker makes serious allegation (video)

A lawmaker in Plateau state, Ahmed Maje, has openly accused some politicians of being responsible for the recent Jos killings and violence. Maje said that he was putting he life in danger by making such a serious claim, adding that he has evidence to corroborate his allegation.

Honorable Ahmed Maje, a member of the House of Representatives from Wase constituency, Plateau state, has accused some politicians of being behind the Jos massacre carried out by some suspected herdsmen. Maje said he was aware of the fact that he was taking a huge risk by making such an accusation since he has evidence to substantiate his claim, YabaLeft reports.

The lawmaker stated that he was in possession of documents to show that a certain politician recently imported container loads of arms and ammunition into the country which was not intercepted or impounded by the Nigerian customs or immigration personnel at the borders.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that not less than six persons had been allegedly killed in a recent attack in Plateau state. The attack was said to have occurred at Sabon Angwa around Mararaban Kantoma of Barkinladi local government council of Plateau state on Sunday, July 1.

NAIJ.com gathered that the attack left six people dead, while 15 houses and a church - Baptist Church - in the community were razed.
