Femi Kuti says President Emmanuel Macron of France was told that the Lagos state government repaired the road leading to the Afrika Shrine just because of his visit.
NAIJ.com gathers that Kuti also disclosed to Macron that the government also renovated the Afrika Shrine and bought a new generator ahead of his visit.
Recall that Macron on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, visited the New Afrika Shrine, home of legendary Nigerian musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
Macron visited the shrine after visiting President Buhari in Abuja also on July 3, 2018. He was accompanied to the shrine by Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that President Emmanuel Macron of France, who arrived Nigeria on Tuesday, July 3, revealed that he was a regular visitor at the Afrika Shrine while he worked as a 23-year-old intern at the French embassy in Abuja.
President Macron disclosed this in a video he Tweeted on Wednesday, July 4, in which he said he visited the Afrika Shrine again because he had some memories about the place. He said the shrine is an iconic place for a lot of African people and their culture.
