Nigerian man takes to social media to praise his vulcanizer who helped him fix his tyre at night in Lagos

Nothing beats being good and passionate about your craft. A Nigerian man recently took to his Twitter page to appreciate the hard work of a certain vulcanizer in Lagos.

Many times most people don't appreciate the works of some artisans. They often perceive them as lowly but unarguably many can't survive without some of their services.

According to a man identified as George Uwaifo on Twitter, he was stuck on a road in Lekki, Lagos at past 9.30 PM with his car tyres damaged.

He narrated how a vulcanizer around the axis helped him fix his car, he wrote;

" Give it up for these guys who work magic on your tyres when our horrible unforgiving roads wreck havoc on them.

This was past 9:30pm and this very big hole was worked on by this amazing vulcanizer just past Abraham adesayan roundabout at Lekki."

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that some photos of a woman, Mrs. Chinelo Ogbonna, who helps her vulcanizer husband in Nsukka, Enugu state, recently hit the internet.

According to Facebook user Jeff Unaegbu who posted the pictures, the woman has learnt a lot in the vulcanizing business and she is always ready to attend to her husband's customers whenever they arrive their workshop.

In another report by NAIJ.com, a Nigerian lady Bilikis Rafiu is reported to be the only female vulcanizer in Kwara state. The lady who thought life would be a bed of roses for her, unknowingly to her, she ended up as a vulcanizer.

Bilkis Rafiu, who is 35-year-old from Oke Oyi, Ilorin East Local Government, Kwara State was sighted by our correspondent along Oke-Adini, Kulende area in Ilorin where she usually display her skills and ply her trade, a career that is believed to belong to the men alone.
