Spanish club, Real Madrid have released a statement denying latest reports linking them with Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.

The statement was made with growing speculation about signing the Brazil international following rumours he wanted to leave the French club

However, the 13-time European champions have officially denied any intention in signing the 26-year-old on their social media page.

"In the face of the constant reports linking PSG's Neymar to our club, Real Madrid wish to clarify that the club has no intention of making any offer for the player," read the announcement.

"The two clubs enjoy an excellent relationship and, as such, if Real Madrid were at any stage to consider securing the services of a PSG player, they would approach the club in the first instance."

Reports also have it that Los Blancos are keen to sign a formidable replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo who left Juventus for a €100m (£88m/$117m) fee earlier in the week.

And PSG duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have been tipped to make a move to the Spanish capital.

But with the statement released by Real, the Bernabeu giants might not be looking in the way of Neymar this summer but his club teammate, Mbappe, could still be in the running for a possible move.

Chelsea star, Eden Hazard have also been heavily linked to sign for the Galaticos after the World Cup following his eye-catching performances in Russia.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a £150m bid to sign Belgium forward Eden Hazard from Chelsea this summer as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal international has agreed to join Juventus, after the Bernabeu outfit confirmed Ronaldo will leave Madrid this summer.
