Breaking: President Buhari visits his campaign office in Abuja ahead of 2019 election (photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, August 1, visited his presidential campaign office in Abuja as part of preparation for the official kick-off of his 2019 second-term bid.

NAIJ.com reports that this was revealed by the personal assistant to President Buhari on new media, Bashir Ahmad, in his series of tweets, adding that the visit was part of the preparation to officially kick off the president's campaign ahead of 2019 general election.

He tweeted: "Part of the preparation of kicking-off officially, President Buhari visits his Presidential Campaign Office this evening in Abuja."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari urged his supporters to stop campaigning for his re-election in the 2019 presidential elections.

The president noted that some zealous supporters have been engaging in what could be interpreted as campaigns even months before the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is due to lift the embargo on such.
