Chelsea superstar tells the Blues to sell him now or he leaves on free transfer next summer

- Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has told Chelsea that he will not sign a new deal

- His current contract with the Blues will expire next summer and he wants to leave

- Chelsea are now left with two options of selling him now or allowing the Belgian to leave for free next summer

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has reportedly told the Blues' chiefs that he will not sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and will leave on a free transfer next summer.

The Blues have been trying to keep their number one goalie this summer, and with this this latest development, they will have to sell him in the next nine days or lose him for free when his contract ends next season.

Chelsea want Courtois to sign a new long-term contract but the keeper says his mind is made up and he wants to move to Madrid to be with his children according to the report by UK Sun.

The Blues' failure to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League is also said to be another rationale the Belgium international wants to leave Stamford Bridge.

He is currently on break after playing for his country at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and Courtois will return to training on August 7 which is two days to the end of the January transfer window.
