Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was at Turf Moor on Thursday night as he watched Burnley face Olympiacos in the Europa League qualifier.
Mourinho booked a spot at the Europa League qualifier ahead of United's crunch trip to to Burnley in a Premier League fixture this weekend.
The former Chelsea manager decided against taking up residence in the directors' box, as would be deemed normal practice, in the hope of not drawing in attention to himself.
Mourinho's has come under heavy criticisms following two consecutive defeats and internal issues surrounding the club's transfer business over the summer.

Three of Mourinho's backroom staff joined him as they got a gauge of Burnley before Sunday's Premier League game.
Mourinho was tucked up in the stands and signed an autograph to young fan as he watched the Clarets' European journey come to an end.
Mourinho left the game early and would have taken plenty of notes ahead of this Sunday's crunch match with Sean Dyche's side.
Many of the Red Devils' players and staff believe Mourinho could be sacked if he loses to Burnley and the prospect of United chief Ed Woodward axing Mourinho is being openly discussed in the wake of back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Tottenham.
It is the same sense of inevitability that surrounded Louis van Gaal's final days in 2016 before he was replaced by Mourinho, with players now talking about the possibility of Zinedine Zidane becoming manager.

"They are saying Jose will be gone soon," a source told Sportsmail on Tuesday night. "Some think he'll be out if they lose at Burnley. Others can't see him lasting beyond September.
"We've seen this before and it just feels the same. The club will say it's supporting Jose but we all saw what happened with Louis. The players are already talking about the possibility of Zidane coming in."
