Nathaniel Sharibu who is the father of Leah Sharibu who was abducted by Boko Haram terrorists has called on the federal government todo everything to get his daughter released.
The Sun reports that Sharibu made this call following alleged ultimatum given by the terrorists to the government to pay ransom within a month.

The student of Government Girls Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State was abducted alongside her peers but was kept behind after others were released.
Leah’s father called on Nigerians to help him pressure the government to take action.
He said; “I want pressure on the Federal Government that they should do something at least.
“I want you people to put pressure on the federal government, that they should react and pay the ransom so that they can release them.
“I am pleading. I am pleading as I used to plead, that they can react as these people have said something like this. They have to react concerning it.
He expressed optimism that f the government takes action, his daughter will return home safely.
“I am hopeful if the government will react. They have to react concerning their request.”
NAIJ.com had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, September 18, vowed to do everything possible to ensure Leah Sharibu, one of the over 100 schoolgirls kidnapped by the Boko Haram insurgents in Dapchi, Yobe state, earlier in the year will be rescued.
While all her other schoolmates who survived the ordeal have been released by the terrorists, Leah was held back by the Boko Haram for allegedly refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

He said: “We will continue to do everything possible to ensure the safe return of all of our people held by Boko Haram. This is a vow we intend to fully keep. I appeal to our international partners and friends to continue to support us, even as we redouble our efforts.
“In the last 3 years the efforts of our gallant military and intelligence agencies have resulted in the freeing of thousands of hostages, including some of the Chibok Girls and most of the Dapchi Girls. Let me again assure that no one —including Leah Sharibu —will be left behind.”
