FIFA furious at Lionel Messi and Ronaldo because of what they did last week

- FIFA are now said to be angry with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

- This is because of the award ceremony they missed last week in London

- It was claimed that these two players deliberately missed the gala night

World football governing body known as FIFA are reportedly furious at Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi after missing their award ceremony in London.

FIFA held a gala night last week in London where Real Madrid star Luka Modric was crowned the best player in the world.

But notable absentees from the event were the two biggest superstars - Messi and Ronaldo who have both dominated the voting for the past decade.

There were reports that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo knew that they won't win the award which made them not to attend the ceremony in UK.

And Spanish paper AS say that has left Fifa president Gianni Infantino fuming at what he sees as a deliberate snub for his big event.

The report also added that Infantino has instructed Fifa's lawyers to see if they can find a way to make it compulsory for players nominated for awards to attend.
