The Osun state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it is compiling names of its members that were reportedly killed or injured by hoodlums during the just concluded governorship rerun held in the state.
The state chairman of the party in Osun state, Soji Adagunodo, accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) hoodlums of being responsible for the killing of PDP members, The Punch reports.

Adagunodo said PDP leaders at the ward levels all over the state have been asked to get actual reports of what happened during the supplementary poll for the purpose of giving what he called a comprehensive report of assault on the opposition.
“We are compiling the names of our members who were killed by APC hoodlums and those injured. We don’t want to give the figure piecemeal. We will give a comprehensive detail of the unimaginable assault visited on our people,” the PDP chairman said.

“We will release the names and location where the incident happened very soon. The robbery that happened on Thursday was seen by the whole world and the party has condemned it. Observers were attacked, journalists were beaten and our members were killed and some injured.”
Meanwhile, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s governorship candidate in Osun state, has vowed to retrieve his ‘stolen mandate’ from the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Gboyega Oyetola, at the Election Petition Tribunal.
He made the comment in a chat with newsmen shortly before the returning officer, Prof Joseph Fuwape, announced the final figure for the Osun gubernatorial re-run election on Thursday, September 27, Punch reports.
