A young Nigerian man has taken to social media to narrate a shocking incident he witnessed in Benin City. The young man identified simply as OG David shared his experience on Rant HQ Facebook page.

In his narration, the young man explained how he came across a crowd on his way back from the salon. He noted that he found out that the crowd had gathered after discovering that a child was trapped in a car.

According to him, the child's mother had mistakenly locked the car with the baby and car key inside. He revealed that the child had been crying and seriously sweating by the time he got to the scene.

OG David stated that the people in the crowd had advised the woman to break her car window in other for her to rescue the child but she refused, asking them to find another way to save her child.

The Facebook user noted that he was shocked to find out that a mother would react that way to the life on her child. He expressed sadness over her attitude, noting that the people value property more than life these days.

"Aunty susu pls post. On my way back from saloon yesterday at Benin city, agip @6:03pm. We saw crowd. We decide to park and check what's going on. A lady locked her child in the car and forgot the key inside. The child was crying and sweating. I stood for over 15m watching the scene o. People were busy shouting "madam make we break d glass" i was shocked the woman didn't agree, She was pleading for them to find a means of opening the car with a child sweating and and crying bitterly. What's d world turning too please. People now value property more than life. God please blow trumpet!"

Meanwhile, OG David had failed to reveal if the child was later saved in his Facebook post on Rant HQ.
