French star Paul Pogba is nearing Manchester United’s exit door amid poor relationship with the club’s Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho.

According to a UK Mirror report citing the UK Sun, the France World Cup winner is set for war after experiencing a difficult season at Old Trafford, since the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

And over the weekend, Pogba’s error cost his team two points after the Red Devils for the umpteenth time, as they failed to grab all match points after battling Wolves to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

Reacting after the match, a furious Mourinho was bitter with Pogba over his mistake that saw Portuguese star, Joao Moutinho net the equaliser for Wolves.

Responding to the manager’s claims, the Frenchman blamed the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss to employing the wrong tactics during the encounter, thus leaving the pair in state of uncertainty.

Interestingly, the report further suggests that both parties had a heated disagreement in the locker room after the encounter as Mourinho cautioned Pogba to concentrate on his playing role in order to avoid unpardonable mistakes that might prove too costly after their poor start to the campaign.

Already, the Old Trafford dwellers are playing catch up to leaders Liverpool, who currently enjoyed an eight-point gap at the top of the Premier League log.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Paul Pogba has faulted Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho for applying the wrong tactics in Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with Wolves.

According to a UK Sun report, the French World Cup winner insists the performance of the Red Devils could have been different, if the Portuguese boss adopted a positive approach for the Premier League tie.

“At home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack.

“Teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake,” he said.
