Bournemouth manager, Eddie Howe is currently joint leader in the race to replace Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

According to a UK sun report, Bournemouth boss Howe alongside Hoffenheim's Julian Nagelsmann at 10/1, are the bookies top favourites football tactician to step in for the Argentine.

At the last count, Pochettino is under intense pressure at the North London outfit after losing three games in a row Spurs for the first time.

The report further revealed that bookies have also linked the pair of Zinedine Zidane and Diego Simeone alongside Huddersfield's boss David Wagner at 16/1 to make the switch to the North London dwellers.

Reacting on the latest development, Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati insists eggheads of the Premier League side, are getting fed up with the Argentine boss.

"Still trophyless under Poch and after three defeats on the bounce, are Daniel Levy and co beginning to grow tired of their current boss?

"While it's unknown if or when the Argentine will leave, at this stage it's Howe and Nagelsmann who are the most likely names to replace him,” Apati said.

Interestingly, the bookies remain confident Pochettino is going to remain at the helms of affairs for the time being, but 40/1 to be next EPL manager in line for a sack.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed he may be sacked by the North London outfit in the coming week courtesy of the club’s poor run in the current campaign.

According to a UK Mirror report, the Argentine remains focused on helping Spurs return to winning ways despite admitting that squad members are not in positive groove after their poor run of results.

“I am going to stick with the club, I am not going to criticise the club. All the decisions are our decisions and of course always with the club until the end.
