- A Nigerian comedian was stabbed by the gateman of the building he lives in

- The comedian had reportedly confronted the gateman for tampering with the building's light when he was stabbed

- It was gathered that the comedian was rushed to the hospital where he had a successful surgery

Obotuke Timothy Sirbalo, a Nigerian comedian, has reportedly been stabbed by a Togolese security officer that works for the building he lives in. The comedian had gotten into an argument with the security officer when the incident happened.

According to reports, the tenants of the building have often complained about the gateman tampering with the building's light. It was revealed that the tenants complained that what the gateman does spoils their gadgets.

On the day of the incident, it was reported that Sirbalo had been working on a project when the gateman tampered with the light and destroyed his charger in the process.

Sirbalo reportedly confronted the gateman, which led to an argument that ended after the other tenants convinced Sirbalo to leave him alone.

However, the gateman allegedly picked up a sharp object and stabbed Sirbalo. The comedian was rushed to the hospital and he received a surgery that was said to have been successful.
