- American-Nigerian rapper Wale says indigenous rapper Olamide is one of the hardest working artist he knows
- He also reveals Baddosneh inspires him as an artist
- Wale is also said to be very close to Davido
Nigerian born American rapper Olubowale Victor Akintimehin who goes by the stage name Wale recently disclosed Nigerian rapper, Olamide, as his source of inspiration in the music industry.
Wale says he looks up to Badosneh as Olamide is popularly known. The American rapper also noted that the YBNL record label boss is one of the most dynamic writers he has ever known in any genre of music.
In describing Olamide further in an interview he had with Okay Africa, Wale said the rapper who raps mostly in Yoruba is a fast worker who is very talented. He said:

“He’s (Olamide) one of the fastest workers and one of the most dynamic writers I know in any genre. He’s very, very talented. I look up to him a lot in that sense.”
Wale who is known to be close to Davido also spoke about his relationship with the DMW said:
“I’ve known him for a long time. I think I met him in DC several years ago. We just always stayed in contact with each other. Obviously, Davido is in a different city every two days, maybe another country every two days. We always stay in touch. Any time we’re close, we always link up.”
Wale had in 2017, worked with Davido and Olamide in a single titled Fine Girl. The recently signed artist of Warner Records revealed he is planning on having Olamide, Wizkid, Davido, and Phyno and other African artists on his upcoming project.
He said:
“You’re always going to see Davido and me together. I just did a song with Phyno. Even Kwesta and Sampha, I got love for South Africa. I spread it.”
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that MI Abaga in an interview opined that indigenous rapper, Olamide aka Baddo is one of the dopest in the game. Although Olamide's music is much more pleasant to the ears of those who speak and understand the Yoruba language, many Nigerians still appreciate his music in general. Apparently, M.I Abaga also recognises his talent. Speaking to Orin Conversations, the rapper shared a brief analysis of Olaimide's music and stated that he is in fact, one of the dopest rappers in Nigeria.
