Coach of Belgium national team Roberto Martinez has revealed Jan Vertonghen will miss up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Tottenham defender missed his club's defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League and was substitute during Spurs 3-0 win at Huddersfield.
The former Everton manager said the center-half will be out of out action for more than a month after suffering from a hamstring discomfort.

Vertonghen will now miss Premier League fixtures to West Ham and Manchester City as well as two Champions League double-headers against PSV Eindhoven.
He will also not be involved with the national team when they take on Switzerland and the Netherlands which could extend beyond the November international break.
Vertonghen's Tottenham team-mate Mousa Dembele will also not be available for Belgium as he was also taken off in the win at Huddersfield.
Mauricio Pochettion's side have been hit with injury crisis as Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli, Serge Aurier and Michel Vorm have joined the growing list.
Martinez did not also invite Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bryune who just returned from injury and could return against Liverpool on Sunday.
