The tie was in a tough Premier League match as Spanish striker Alvaro Morata once again demonstrated his ability to all Chelsea faithfuls.

West Brom started the match impressive, but Chelsea had the first chance to score when Marcos Alonso supplied a powerful cross inside the box which was well blocked by West Brom goalie Ben Foster.

Chelsea scored their first goal in the 17th minute when Belgian star Eden Hazard fired a powerful shot in which Alvaro Morata tapped in a loose ball.

Eden Hazard then scored the second goal for the Blues in the 23rd minute after combining well with Cesc Fabregas for him to beat Ben Foster.

Defender Marcos Alonso netted the third goal for Chelsea in the 38th minute as the two teams went into the break with the visitors leading.

Superb midfielder Eden Hazard scored his second goal in the 62nd minute for the Blues to win the match and go to second position on the standings pending the result of Manchester United match.
