Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has revealed the reason he has been continuously absent for Jose Mourinho's side in the past months.
The 36-year-old has been sidelined for two months for the Red Devils, and club doctors were left baffled by his continued absence.

But Carrick has come out to state that he has been diagnosed with a heart problem.
Carrick revealed he did not feel well in Manchester United September’s Carabao Cup clash against Burton.
And after undergoing tests, it turned out he had an irregular heart beat.
Carrick revealed that he underwent surgery to help solve the problem.

And the Old Trafford fan favourite is now focusing on making a full recovery.
The English veteran footballer posted a statement on Social Media which reads: “I just want to clear up my situation as I’ve had quite a few people asking if I’m OK and why I haven’t been fit over the last couple of months.
“After feeling strange during the 2nd half of the Burton game in September I underwent a series of tests.
“It turned out to be due to an irregular heart rhythm which has been fully investigated and I had a procedure called a Cardiac Ablation.
“I had to build up training steadily whilst being monitored closely but I feel fine now.

“I would like to reassure everyone that I’m healthy and back training hard with the team.
“I’m building up my fitness and aiming to be back in contention for selection soon.
“Thanks for your support. Michael.”
It remains certain that Carrick will offer no service to Jose Mourinho men when they face Premier League new boys Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Sarturday, November 25 in their Premier League matchday 13 clash.
