The beautiful daughter of former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, Neya, is officially married. She got married to her heartthrob Lawrence Iyere on Thursday, December 21.
Their union was solemnized at the Catholic Church of the Assumption, Ikoyi, while the reception was held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, both in Lagos.
The ceremony was graced by quite a host of high-profiled personalities, top notch politicians. It was a like a carnival of sorts

Since the bride’s father has now pitched his political tent with the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), top echelons of the party were present at his daughter’s wedding including the national leader of the party Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; national chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun; Communication Minister Adebayo Shittu were among numerous guests at the event.

The two lovebirds had met while at the University of Buckingham from where Neya bags a master’s degree in human resources. She is a staff member of Sun Trust Bank Nigeria Limited. The groom, Lawrence Iyere holds a master’s degree in investment and finance from the same university as his bride. He is from Irrua in Edo state.
NAIJ.com had reported about the traditional wedding of Neya and Lawrence which took place on December 28, 2016, at the former governor’s home town in Igbere, Bende LGA of Abia state.
