Barcelona’s team was attacked by ragging supporters after their 3-0 aggregate win over Valencia at the Estadio Mestalla.
The Catalan celebrations were caught short when the livid fans launched their attack throwing rocks and glass bottles before one strike shattered the glass of the coach’s window.

Over 43,000 fans were packed in the Mestalla hoping their will overcome 1-0 defeat in the first leg of the Copa del Rey second leg clash.

However, the fans were disappointed with the outcome following Barcelona’s show of brilliance as goals from Philipe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic secured Barcelona’s passage to the finals where they will face Sevilla.
A large portion of home supporters struck as images released later showed the streets outside the stadium covered in shattered glass.

There were no report of casualties including players and the driver but it was believed Gerrard Pique and Samuel Untiti were singled out in the attack by supporters.
It was reported that Pique was subjected to abuse and critique regarding his Catalan identity, while racist slurs were directed towards Umtiti, although these are thus far unconfirmed.
Enersto Valverde’s side have been impressive this season in all competitions as the Baulgrana are aiming for a treble including La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League trophies respectively.
