Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea reportedly demanded a pay rise of £375,000-a-week for him to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.
His current £210,000-a-week contract runs out at the end of next season with the option of a further one-year extension.
But the Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move to Spanish champions Real Madrid as Los Blancos want him to be part of their squad next season.
