- Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has defended Cristiano Ronaldo
- He believes the ex Manchester United star will find his form soon
- Ronaldo has only scored 8 goals this season in the La Liga
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has defended Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo despite his unimpressive performances this season in the Spanish La Liga.
Ronaldo was superb last season for Real Madrid thereby helping the club to win the Spanish League and also the UEFA Champions League title.
But he is yet to find his rhythm this season as the former Manchester United star has only scored eight La Liga goals in which Real Madrid currently occupy fourth position on the standings.

He has been heavily criticized for his performance this term for Real Madrid.
But Zidane has hit back at his front man's detractors and reckons Ronaldo's lack of goalscoring activity will be making him more determined.
"Maybe because of that lack of goals, he is more motivated than ever before and keen to show what he can do.
"He has always proven himself and turned up in the big matches." Zidane was quoted to have said by Mirror.
Real Madrid are already out of the 2018 Copa del Rey and it will be difficult for Los Blancos to catch their bitter rivals Barcelona who are 19 points ahead of them in the La Liga standings.
