Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly shown interest in signing Valencia fullback Jose Luis Gaya at the end of this season.
The Portuguese tactician is hoping to find a replacement for his make shift left full back, Ashley Young, whose contract runs out at the end of the season.
Mourinho has shown that rejuvenated Luke Shaw, who joined the Red Devils in 2014 is not in his plans as he has narrowed down his search to the 22-year-old Spaniard.

According to reports from RAI Sport, the Old Trafford outfit are said to be in talks with the player’s representatives for several months and contact has now been made with the La Liga outfit.
United will be hoping to count on their relationship with the Spanish club to land the defender, having sent one of their midfielders, Andreas Pereira on a season long loan deal to the Mestalla last summer.
Gaya, who has featured for Spain at all age-grade levels except the senior national team has scored twice for Valencia in 101 matches since he joined them in 2012.

Meanwhile, the former Chelsea will be hoping to inject the youngster into his team ahead of the coming league season as they intend to contend for the Premier League title among other trophies next season.
The 22-year-old left back has already acquired some level of topflight experience while playing for the Spanish League side, and might take him little or no time to blend when he eventually switch sides at the end of this season.
