A Nigerian man has advised other men to endeavour to help their wives with house chores and assist in taking care of their children. The man identified as Pius Adesanmi made this known on social media after he shared a photo of himself backing his baby.

The man shared the photo of himself backing his baby girl who was three years old at the time. Adesanmi who shared the photo on his Twitter timeline, explained that his daughter is now six years old.

In his post, he advised men to help their wives out with chores and taking care of their children at home. He added that men should stop believing that house chores are for women alone.

He wrote: "She's 6 now. She was 3 here and loved to spend inordinate hours on the back. There were two backs in the house so her mama and I took turns. Guys, it's our work too. Not just "women's work" like you've been socialized to believe for so long."
