Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has reportedly told the club's coaching crew not to select Andre Gomes for their next game against Chelsea because of his comments.
Andre Gomes is said to have told Spanish football magazine Panenka he has had to endure “hell” at the Nou Camp because of the pressure upon him and the criticism of his recent performances.
And according to the report by Diario Gol, Gerard Pique feels disappointed by the timing of Gomes' comments and does not want to play with him against the Blues.
The report also stated that Gerard Pique feels Andre Gomes could be affected by his latest comment which could be dangerous against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
But following the injury Andres Iniesta sustained in their last match, Barcelona coach may not have any other option than to use Andre Gomes.
Philippe Coutinho would have been a nice replacement for Iniesta, but he is cup tied.
