According to a UK Metro report, Bayern are ready to see the Polish striker leave the German topflight as top European sides are queuing up for his services.
Some of the clubs waiting to prize away the goals poacher include Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, who have reportedly told Bayern eggheads they are willing to snap up the forward if they decide to sell.
However, Lewandowski’s preferred club remains Spanish giants Real Madrid the report noted.
The Polish forward at 29 is dreaming daily of a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu and feels time is not on his side to pen a dream move to the Los Blancos.
The German champions are not ready to let go their prized jewel until they sign a replacement, but the Pole has stressed that he won’t be moving to Old Trafford this summer.
Additional report from Prezeglad Sportowy, hinted that Lewandowski does not see the city of Manchester as an attractive destination to reside.
However, the Polish forward prefers Paris as a more credible alternative as PSG have lined up one of the most fascinating financial package.
In addition, Lewandowski will have opportunity to spearhead an attacking line that also includes Neymar and Kylian Mbappe is a special bonus for the ex- Borussia Dortmund striker.
Lewandowski is contracted to Bayern until 2021 but his boss Niko Kovac admitted he is toying with the idea of leaving.
“There’s nothing new with Robert, it’s clear that he will not leave this club because we have a top striker and we certainly do not want to relinquish him or give him away,” he quoted as saying to Sky Sport Germany.
“We want to achieve a lot with him. He is a great footballer, who has achieved a lot in the Bundesliga, scored many goals and now in the new season certainly will score many goals.
“It’s true that Robert toys with going elsewhere. Only [he has] one thing he likes, the other is what we like to do.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Manchester United will allow French forward Anthony Martial leave Old Trafford this summer if they seal a deal for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic to fill the void in the squad, according to a UK Sun report.
The Frenchman jetted back to Paris after leaving Jose Mourinho’s gang in the US to be beside his partner Melanie DA Cruz ahead of the delivery of their first child.
The 22-year-old Martial did not play any role for the Les Blues World Cup triumph after he was blackout from the national squad, no thanks to his limited appearances for the Red Devils last season, was granted permission to leave Old Trafford this summer.
