- Manchester United have rubbished reports of hiring Zinedine Zidane
- The Frenchman has been linked to replace Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford
- But an official of the Red Devils branded the speculation as 'rubbish'
Premier League giants Manchester United have rubbished claims that they are planning to hire former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane as replacement for embattled Jose Mourinho.
On Saturday, Manchester United suffered their third Premier League defeat of the season and there have been reports that Jose Mourinho could face the exit doors.
His recent bust-up with Frenchman Paul Pogba is also said to be another issue that could send the Special One out of Old Trafford.
But a senior United source described according to UK Mirror that claims they have approached former Real Madrid boss Zidane as Mourinho's successor as “rubbish.”
The report also added that Manchester United want to give Jose Mourinho more time to arrest the slump and believe that making a change during the season is also fraught with danger.
