Nigeria rolled over their North African opponents Libya by 4-0 in their AFCON qualifying match played at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Since the Super Eagles ouster at the World Cup last summer, the squad resigned back to their home turf to play their third qualifying match.
Gernot Rohr's men were ecstatic in their victory over the Libyans and putting the three-time African champions back on track for qualification for Cameroon 2019.

Here are the 5 things we learnt in the Super Eagles' pounding of Libya
1. Experience and quality counted
Right from the blast of the whistle, the Libyans were not bad as they brought the game to the doorstep of the Nigerian side.
Even when Odion Ighalo scored the early penalty, the North Africans were relentless and could have scored but a point blank save from Francis Uzoho kept Nigeria's lead in the match.
However, the Green and White were calm soaked the pressure and caught their opponents on classic counter-attacking moves on a number of occasion.
2. The back four were on point
The central defensive paring of William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun also known as the 'Oyinbo Wall' stood their grounds making some decisive clearance and not conceding a penalty.
The wing backz involving Ola Aina, Jamilu Collins and Shehu Abdulahi were also impressive on the night.
Abdulahi was menacing on the counter attack as Padeborn defender Collins almost scored on his debut after breaking lose from an Alex Iwobi's pass but his shot hit the cross bar.
3. Iwobi playing No. 10
During the first period, the Arsenal midfielder was lost in the midfield as the Libyans pressed forward for an equalizer.
But in the second half the 22-year-old made countless number of defence-splitting pass that exposed the Libyans as the pacy Ahmed Musa and Samuel Kalu made the most of it.
Captain John Mikel Obi was not really missed as the youngster become too hot to handle for the North Africans who were caught napping in their back line.
4. Ighalo deserves the credit from Nigerians
The Changchun Yatai striker has been under constant attack from Nigerians after missing a sitter against Argentina at the World Cup.
Some said the former Watford forward could only score goals in the Chinese Super Lig and he conversion rate for the national team is low.
But Ighalo's hardwork in the attack earned him a penalty which he converted and he tucked away two other goals in a typical No 9's finish.

5. The Super Eagles shaping into a world class team
There is no doubt about how satisfactorily the team is currently playing at the moment and the team is moulding into a formidable side.
The former African champions have scored seven goals in two matches which shows the team is growing in confidence and shaping into size.
Gernot Rohr introduced another debutant Jalimu Collins who has thrown the left-back position into stiff competition with Bryan Idowu.
Samuel Kalu who made his third appearance for the Super Eagles is making Nigerians forget about Victor Moses quickly with his dazzling runs and dribble, as well as crowning his five-star performance with a sublime finish.
