Liverpool, Arsenal set to battle top Italian club in the signing of Real Madrid star this summer

Three top European clubs have reportedly shown interest in signing Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez this summer according to Daily Star.

The 26-year-old Spaniard joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2015 in a six-year deal valued at £900 thousand, and he still has a running contract with the La Liga outfit until 2021.

Having spent just three seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu with eight titles to his credit, the former Espanyol player is keen on seeking a new challenge elsewhere.

Despite starring for the Galacticos over 50 times last season, the chances of becoming a regular in Zinedine Zidane’s team is very slim, and so might be forcing a move away from the Spanish capital at the end of the 2017/18 season – unless he is assured of more playing time next season.

The winger is also aware that the manager will recruit new players this summer which might likely make him surplus to requirement.

He has featured 23 La Liga games, but has been introduced in the later part of those games, having worked his way up through the youth ranks at Real.

Meanwhile, a Spanish outlet, Diario Gol says Vazquez has made up his mind to leave at the end of the season, as the player’s agent reveals he will listen to offers from interested clubs.

With this development, the 26-year-old will listen to offer from these three European clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Roma, and might even entertain offers from other interested sides.

In his three-season reign at the Spanish club, Vazquez has scored 9 goals in over 80 matches in all competitions. He scored his last goal for the club in their 5-2 victory over Real Sociedad in their Spanish League clash in February.

The want-away winger has played 23 La Liga encounters this season and has three goals registered in his name, and will be available for selection against Eibar this weekend.
