Liverpool continued their impressive winning run of games in this season's campaign as they white-washed Southampton by 3-0 at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp's men were on rampage against the Saints as Wesley Hoedt's bloop counted as an own goal for the Reds after an initial Xherdan Shaqiri's shot was blocked.
It became 2-0 as Joel Matip's towering header from a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner beat Alex McCarthy in goal in the 21st minute.
Star man Mohamed Salah got the third on the stroke of half time after Shaqiri's free-kick came off the post for the Egyptian to tap into an empty net to make it 3-0.

Chances were few and far between in the second period as the Merseyside look the more relaxed team at Anfield.
Substitute Charlie Austin got the only meaningful chance on goal for Mark Hughes side as Liverpool were claimed their sixth win in six games.
