There is no big deal in being my wife’s photographer - Banky W says as he shares marriage tips

Celebrated musician and husband to Adesua Etomi is well known for always being at the forefront of capturing his wife at the best of moments. At a recent interview, he was asked why he loved to take photos of her in public and his reply is as genuine as it is epic.

One of the many times Bankole Wellington had taken to taking pictures of his wife in public was at Gabriel Afolayan’s wedding. The whole idea of the popular R & B singer trying to get the best pose of his wife in public has got many people talking.

In a recent interview he had with The Punch, Banky W was questioned about this action that was not so common especially among celebrities of his status. The Made for You singer replied by saying there was no shame in it and it was not much of a big deal.

He also rhetorically asked a question that expressed his genuine thoughts about the act: “Why would I feel bad taking pictures of my wife in public?"

Going forward, the EME record label owner remarked that Adesua Etomi Wellington now popularly referred to as Mrs W was his wife and they were both one. He didn’t see why he could not be her photographer if she needed him to because he was just as well sure that she would at any time act in the same position for him.

As it is common with the Nollywood actor these days, he made sure to drop several nuggets about making a marriage work during the course of the interview:

“Marriage is a teamwork and you should be the one that your partner can depend on and it goes both ways. That is the way we operate, there is no big deal in being my wife’s photographer or taking pictures of my wife. What is it in taking pictures of my wife?”

Before the end of the interview, Banky W commented about the latest achievement of his beautiful wife and colleague, Adesua Etomi. The actress who had taken to her Instagram page to share a picture of her being honoured by her tertiary institution, University of Wolverhampton with a portrait to her name, was further showered with praise by her husband.

“I am very proud of my wife and I am happy for her. I mean she is an amazing and talented woman and one of the most incredible people I have met in life."

Even more, Banky said they had decided to share the good news via social media so as to serve as encouragement to others:

"She posted it to encourage people and let them know that even if they are struggling about a situation at the moment, it does not mean that it cannot turn out fine or turn around for good. If you are struggling right now, it does not mean that you would not be victorious eventually. When I read the post, I was also very encouraged because to move from a point where you were struggling to actually be celebrated is really a good thing and it shows that there is nothing God cannot do with your life.”

In a very wry way, the interviewer had teased the singer who just released a song titled Running After You. Banky, however, made it clear that he was not scared of getting fat as he kept to the nutritional tips that helped one stay fit. He was very liberal in sharing part of his secret to staying healthy and in good shape:

"First, you have to work on your diet and make sure that you do not always eat junk food or meals that would make you fat. You also need to work out. Once you are able to balance these two factors, you would be alright."
